Here at Sundown Stables our main focus is providing our riders with quality and safe education to help you progress and achieve your goals. Whether you are interested in competing or just enjoy the therapeutic quality of riding, this is the place for you! We offer lessons to riders of all ages and levels in both english and western disciplines.

I grew up in Claremore OK, class of ’73 and attended the University of Oklahoma. I have had a love of horses for as long as I can remember. I have been involved with training since 1995 and I started training full time in 2009 with an emphasis on equitation on the flat as well as over fences. I have taught all ages, from age 4 thru 66. Horse showing is at the top of my list of favorite activities. My students have won numerous year-end Championships for HJEO and OHJA. I have judged schooling shows since 2015.

I have one daughter, Megan Ghere. She is 35 years old and is the head trainer for Don Stewart Stables in Ocala, Florida. This is one of the top equitation barns in the country. I have conducted riding clinics with my daughter since 2016.I am also a concierge trainer, teaching at other barns whose trainer is away at a show, on vacation, etc.
